green hack — (noun) a simple, clever, and often cost-effective trick, shortcut, or conscious change in daily habits that helps an individual reduce their environmental impact, save resources, and contribute to a more sustainable way of living.

The Green Hack Photobomb Contest is launched by Global Shapers Edmonton Hub in collaboration with other Canadian hubs (Vancouver Hub, Toronto Hub, and Halifax Hub) to support CNN’s Call To Earth campaign. We will celebrate Call To Earth Day this November 6, 2025 by posting winning photos in our social media with hashtags #CallToEarth #PerpetualPlanet in solidarity with the campaign’s mission to drive awareness, action and education around environmental issues and solutions.
