All Global Shapers contribute to or lead the execution of projects related to improving the community in areas related to Inclusion, Skills, Health, Aid, the Planet, and Engagement.

Who you are:

• Organized and self-motivated

• Interested in developing your leadership potential

• Must be a strong collaborator, team player, and individual contributor

• Passionate about the community and improving the status quo

• Although the Global Shapers community supports diversity and inclusion, volunteers of our organization must follow certain requirements as mandated by the World Economic Forum

Membership Lead

What you will do:

• Host and organize recruitment events, including info nights and networking events

• Lead interviews and assist in new Shaper selection (including reviewing applications)

• Guide new Shapers through onboarding

• Support the retention and attraction of top talent

• Help identify and organize volunteer activities and social events

Who you are:

• Familiarity in human resources, people management, engaging audiences, leadership, etc.

Finance

What you will do:

• Manage the hub finances, including account access

• Track and manage hub expenses and member dues

• Support filing of year-end fiscal documentation

• Discover, research, and apply for grant funding (as required)

• Manage annual hub budget and inform strategies to balance cash flows

• Provide input on short-term investments and asset allocation

Who you are:

• Familiarity in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, business, etc.

Marketing

What you will do:

• Plan, create, publish, and share content across all Global Shapers social media accounts

• Design graphics, digital media, and print material to communicate the mission and activities of the hub

Who you are:

• Familiarity in marketing, communications, social media, graphic design, etc.
